“Along the banks of the river when the water calm, rock

and water combine to create the magic of River Totems.

Within this sacred geometry of the elements, angels, fairies,

gnomes and animal spirits emerge, While one person may see

face of a bear, another may see the wings of a fairy.  

My vision come to be  in 1995 on a beautiful day in

northern Sierras while lying on a rock. As I glanced out

across the river, I noticed abstract faces appearing in the

seam of the reflection. These faces reminded me of totem

poles, and I was  fascinated and moved and moved by this

gift from the river. Having had this vision and feeling the

need to share it, I began to search the rivers with my

camera.”

The beauty and mystery of these River Totems reflect
