





Cat’s Lair Collection is proud to have commissioned Ekaterina
to create “The Cat” that is at the entrance of our gallery.
Ekaterina (Tatarovich) Harrison is a well known sculptor in
the United States. Most of her sculptures are installed in public
places, museums and private collections through out the United
States. After Ekaterina attended the University of UTAH
(Art Major) she became an apprentice in an internationally
acclaimed sculpture school and art foundry - Johnson Atelier
in New Jersey. She also apprenticed with well known Blacksmith in
Trenton, New Jersey.
Ekaterina lives near the La Sal Mountains, where she has her
studio. She often works on commissions that are both decorative
and sculptural. Her talent is so vast in expression - she will often
work with different materials such as metal,wood, stone, clay just to
name a few. Her work ranges from monumental work, which is
installed in public places, all the way to smaller work of art. What
ever size it may be it still shows her vibrant talents and
strong feelings.
